The President of Turkmenistan received certificates on awarding the Guinness World Records of objects of the Olympic town in Ashgabat

The certificates confirming awarding the Guinness World Records of objects of the Olympic town in Ashgabat were handed to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during the festive ceremony which took place in Sport hotel of the Olympic town in Ashgabat on the occasion of 10 days before start of the Games "Ashgabat-2017" today. 

Specially for it the representative of the Guinness Book of Records Victor Fenesvakase arrived in Turkmenistan. The objects brought in the Guinness Book of Records are the art image of the achaltekin racer at the Olympic stadium and the water sports complex with the biggest in the world the covered swimming pool.

Height of the monumental image of the racer constitutes 40,05 meters (131 feet 4,9 inches), length - 37,69 meters (123 feet 7,9 inches) and width – 40,24 meters (132 feet 0, 6 inches).

In the water sports complex of the Olympic town, expected 5 thousand viewers, four pools with a total area of 4 thousand 976,65 square meters (53 568 square feet) were placed.
