Azerbaijan reported on the implementation of commitments within OPEC+ in 2017

Azerbaijan represented to the monitoring Committee of the OPEC+ data on daily oil production in the country in December, it amounted to 810 thousand barrels against 790,7 thousand barrels in November, thus the country fulfilled its obligations in the framework of the deal in 2017. This was announced by the head of the press service of the energy Ministry of Azerbaijan, Zamina Aliyeva, "Prime" reports.

She also highlighted that Azerbaijan fully realized its commitments to reduce production.

OPEC and other oil producing countries (OPEC+) at the end of 2016, agreed to reduce oil production to total 1.8 million barrels a day from October level. Azerbaijan in the framework agreement committed themselves to reduce production of 35 thousand barrels per day (from the level of 869 thousand barrels). The agreement was concluded for the first half of 2017, in may it was extended for another three quarters before the end of March 2018, and in November - for another nine months, until the end of 2018.

According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of energy, daily oil production in the country in December amounted to 810 thousand barrels, of which 755,1 thousand barrels were crude oil and 54.9 per thousand barrels of the condensate. Daily exported 649,4 thousand barrels of crude oil, 54.9 per thousand barrels of condensate and 20.1 thousand barrels of petroleum products.
