OPEC members don't want Brent prices below 60 dollars, - oil Minister of Iran

OPEC members don't want the price of Brent crude oil exceed $ 60. This was stated by the Minister of oil of Iran Bijan Zanganeh, said the Iran.ru.

He noted that members of the Organization of countries-exporters of oil does not tend to increase prices for Brent crude above $ 60 per barrel.

"The rally in oil prices in recent days due to reduced production of OPEC and non-OPEC, and partly because of the cold season. We have winter, the season in which prices are rising as demand growth for petroleum products", - quotes the Minister "of Iran.ru".

Note that the March futures for Brent crude on the morning of 11 January has decreased on 0,16%, to 69,09 dollars per barrel. The price of February futures for WTI crude oil fell by 0.14% to 63,48 USD per barrel, according to the auction.

According to forecasts of the energy information administration of U.S. Department of energy (EIA), the average price of a barrel of Brent in 2018 will be 59.74 57,26 dollar against the dollar in the December forecast, and the average price of WTI 55,33 of the dollar (against the previous forecast of 52.77 per barrel), reports RIA Novosti.
