The prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed on Tuesday, during the meeting of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with chief of the international group of companies "ARETI" Igor Makarov.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to discuss topical issues of bilateral partnership, the businessman highlighted the interest of the company headed by him in building up mutually beneficial contacts with Turkmenistan, which demonstrates dynamic rates of economic growth.
In turn, the head of the state noted that Turkmenistan was always open for constructive interaction with leading representatives of the world's business, including Russian.
Stressing that our country attaches great importance to the introduction of modern technologies and the application of best practices of foreign experts, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated the productive nature of business relations with “ARETI” company, which has accumulated many years of successful experience of working together.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged opinions on the prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation, taking into account the priorities of the state development of Turkmenistan, the possibility of implementing new projects.
I. Makarov assured that the holding headed by him would continue to take a serious and responsible approach to the implementation of its partnership obligations.
It should be noted that the largest project of “ARETI” in Turkmenistan is the development of marine block 21 in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian sea under the PSA, signed in September 2009.
Previously completed seismic work at the block 21 was divided into two entities: the Western Erdekli and Southern Erdekli, as well as zones prospective for oil and gas. The conducted researches allowed to be convinced in high prospects of the studied structures on hydrocarbons and to classify them as unique.
