Gas arteries are laid to remote villages of Turkmenistan

Installation teams of the Association "Turkmengazupjunchilik" - a structural unit of the SC "Turkmengas"- laid hundreds of kilometers of pipes for uninterrupted supply of remote settlements of our country with "blue fuel". It was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden age".

At present, the construction of a gas pipeline with a length of more than 27 kilometers is under way in Akhal region, which will provide the remote village of Gotim Babadaykhan etrap with "blue fuel". 24 kilometers of pipes have already been laid. Completed work on the inlet gas lines to the villages Garica of the Akbugday etrap and Jandali of Geokdepe etrap, located in the Karakum desert. After installation of switchgears natural gas will come to the houses of villagers.

In addition, more than 45 kilometers of pipes were stretched out through the desert in a northerly direction to the village of Yerbent of Akbugday etrap. Natural gas is also planned to provide residential settlements located away from the main gas routes. "Blue fuel" will arrive at the village Souma of Geokdepe etrap, and Gyzylgoz and Ginou of  Akbugday etrap.

Currently, the Association "Turkmengallaonumleri" serves tens of thousands of kilometers of pipelines and more than 900 thousand consumers of natural gas. More than 97 per cent of Turkmenistan's territory has been gasified under the national transformation programme.
