Today in the Central building of oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan hosted the meeting under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Myratgeldy Meredov, and it discussed the results of work of the enterprises of the industry over the past three months 2018.
The meeting was attended by heads and specialists of the state concern "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit", state Corporation "Turkmengeology", Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries and CJSC "Nebitgazhyzmat".
Before proceeding to the main agenda, the Deputy Prime Minister gave the floor to the representative of the Prosecutor General's office of Turkmenistan, who made a report on the results of earlier investigations carried out by the country's law enforcement agencies. In particular, it was reported that cases of bribery and corruption among the staff of the complex's enterprises had again been detected. In this regard, Deputy Prime Minister M. Meredov, expressing deep dissatisfaction, instructed all heads to carry out a set of necessary measures to prevent, combat and eliminate such negative phenomena as bribery and corruption.
Further, the detailed reports on the work performed, as well as the planned plans for 2018 were made by the heads of enterprises and institutions of the complex.
The reports also included information on the implementation of the "program of development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030". In particular, information was given on technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, processing of hydrocarbons, production of gasoline, diesel fuel, polypropylene, lubricating oils and other petroleum products, as well as liquefied natural gas and associated gas, export of "blue fuel", development of investments.
During the meeting, information was given on the ongoing work on the construction of a transnational pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI).
After hearing the reports, the Deputy Prime Minister noted dissatisfaction with the work. In this regard, M. Meredov gave a number of specific instructions regarding the increase in oil production and refining in the country. The Deputy Prime Minister also noted the special importance of the further constructive development of natural gas processing for the establishment of ammonia, urea, carbon black production and the systematic increase in the production of liquefied gas, which is in great demand in the world markets.
It was also reported that a number of major investment projects, such as the construction of a gas chemical complex for the production of polyethylene and polypropylene in the Balkan region nd a plant for the production of high-quality gasoline from natural gas in the Ovadan Depe, have been promoted. It was noted that all construction work was proceeding as planned.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister M. Meredov, noting the essential importance of the oil and gas complex in the stable development of the country's economy, noted that the timely execution of all orders and the achievement of the goals set by the President of Turkmenistan for the complex is a priority for each employee of the industry.
