The national exhibition of Turkmenistan in Tashkent demonstrates the export potential of the country

The national exhibition of Turkmenistan began its work in Tashkent on Monday, timed to coincide with the state visit of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Uzbekistan.

The specialized economic review, organized by the chamber of Commerce and industry of Turkmenistan jointly with the national exhibition company "Uzexpocentre", is aimed at expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation. The large-scale exposition demonstrates achievements and prospects of development of economy of our country, its investment and export potential.

In the pavilions of Uzexpocenter presented a wide range of competitive and demanded in the global markets of products, product innovations and suggestions in the area of services. Energy and industry, oil and gas, petrochemicals, construction industry, transport and logistics, communications and telecommunications, agriculture, chemical, textile and food industries, carpet weaving, medicine and pharmaceuticals, science and education, culture, sports and tourism are reflected in colorfully decorated stands, booklets, brochures, magazines.

The basic sector of the country's economic block – the fuel and energy complex-is represented by structural units, including the state Concern Turkmengas and Turkmenneft, the state Corporation Turkmengeology, and the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. The extensive exposition tells about the stages of the implementation of ambitious projects – the development of the giant gas field "Galkynysh", the construction of the transnational gas pipeline TAPI.

Products of Turkmen petrochemicals: high-octane automobile gasoline, aviation kerosene, diesel fuel, petroleum coke, liquefied gas, polypropylene, technical lubricating oils are widely represented at the exhibition. Projects in the gas processing sector, construction of high-tech gas chemical complexes for the production of polyethylene and polypropylene, as well as synthetic gasoline, which are scheduled to be completed this year, are very promising.

Among the main directions of the chemical industry is the production of sulphate and iodine products, mineral fertilizers to meet the needs of the economy. Thus, the urea industry is also increasing its capacity, including due to the gas chemical complex, accelerated pace of the Balkan region being built in Garabogaz.

Having aroused great interest among representatives of state structures and business circles of Uzbekistan, the national exhibition of Turkmenistan has once again confirmed that it is an effective platform for promoting their products of domestic producers to foreign markets.
