Turkmenistan prepares proposals for the upcoming Turkmen-Austrian business forum

This month, the next Turkmen-Austrian business forum will be held in Vienna, where it is planned to discuss the development of trade relations and investment partnership. To this event, the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan is preparing a package of proposals for its Austrian colleagues, according to the website of the UIET.

The forum will present projects in the field of expanding cooperation in the field of logistics, production of mineral fertilizers, petrochemical and gas chemical products, as well as mining, paper and mining.

Much attention will be paid to bilateral cooperation in the field of modernization of textile and leather industries, as well as the creation of high-tech manufacturing enterprises.

Another important point of discussion will be the increase in exports of Turkmen fruits and vegetables to European markets.

It should be noted that in June 2017 in Vienna a representative office of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan was opened, it became a link between the business circles of Turkmenistan and Europe. The work of the UIET representation contributes to the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The chamber of Commerce and industry of Turkmenistan, the Federal economic chamber of Austria, the trade mission of the Austrian Embassy in Ashgabat also play a significant role in the development of bilateral relations, providing direct assistance to representatives of the business circles of the two countries.
