During the meeting in the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Turkmenistan, the Secretary General of the chamber of Commerce and industry of the Economic Cooperation Organization Adem Kula presented his proposal on the holding of a briefing in Istanbul on the ongoing project of construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, as well as the construction of the power line Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan. This was reported on the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The guest also noted that the holding of such an event will cause the interest of other countries-members of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
During the talks, the parties exchanged views on promising areas of partnership, including the trade and industry.
Adem Kula, who is in Ashgabat on a working visit, thanked the Turkmen side for the warm welcome and expressed gratitude for the cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the Turkmen side promised to consider the proposals of the CCI-ECO and thanked for the work carried out, which contributes to greater recognition of Turkmenistan on the world stage.
