Today, the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting chaired by Vice Chairman of the Cabinet Of Ministers of Turkmenistan Myratgeldi Meredov, which summed up the results of the industry in January-June 2019.
Reports on the work performed during the first half of the plans until the end of 2019 made by the heads of the State concerns "Türkmengas", "Türkmennebit", State Corporation "Türkmengeology", the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.
The reports reported on the indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate, as well as in the field of processing of hydrocarbons, production of motor gasoline, diesel fuel, polypropylene, lubricating oils, liquefied gas, export of "blue fuel". It was also reported about the construction of the Turkmen section of the Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India (TAPI) gas pipeline.
In particular, there was information about the work of the polymer plant in Kiyanly Balkan region, as well as the plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas, recently put into operation in Ovadandepe Akhal region.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues concerning the implementation of instructions given by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a recent enlarged meeting of the government concerning increase of efficiency of activity of production divisions of the state concern "Türkmennebit" and "Türkmengas" and State Corporation "Türkmengeology" and TCOR.
In particular, in the near future it is necessary to intensify work on drilling and overhaul of wells, to further increase the production of liquefied gas and main types of oil products, to strengthen the raw material base of the industry through the search and exploration of new hydrocarbon fields.
On the instructions of the head of state, it is planned to develop a marketing strategy for the recently commissioned plant for the production of synthetic gasoline from natural gas, including such an aspect as the placement of ECO-93 environmentally friendly automotive fuel on the world markets.
Among other urgent tasks, the possibilities of ensuring the effective use of production facilities for oil and gas processing, the introduction of advanced technologies, the activation of the pace of work on the installation of gas meters to consumers.
At the end of the meeting, Vice Prime Minister M. Meredov, noting the essential importance of the oil and gas complex in the stable development of the country's economy, stressed that the timely execution of all orders set by the head of state to the industry in the year "Turkmenistan – the birthplace of prosperity" is a priority for every worker of the FEC.
