The president of Moldova Igor Dodon in September will pay to
Turkmenistan an official visit. He wrote about it on Monday on the
page on Facebook, Interfax reports.
According to I. Dodon, the invitation of the President Gurbanguly
Berdimuhamedov to pay a visit to Ashgabat was sent to him by
the vice-chairman, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Rasheed
Meredov who headed the delegation which arrived on a visit to
Chisinau. Representatives of the country leaders, business of
community, cultural figures were also parts of the delegation.
"We have in details discussed a current status of the Moldavian-
Turkmen relations, and also possible building-up of a cooperation
in a number of sectors, first of all in the sphere of agricultural
industry, and also in the energy sector and in the field of cross-
cultural interaction", - I. Dodon noted.
He reported also that on Tuesday representatives of the Turkmen
delegation would hold a number of meetings in regions of the

The delegation of Turkmenistan on Tuesday will visit the Gagauz
autonomy. During the visit to Moldova the President of
Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov promised to
construct modern kindergarten in the Gagauz village Chishmikioy
of the Vulcanest district. The construction of kindergarten on 160
places was begun in May, 2015 and was complete at the end of
2016, writes news agency.
It should be noted that in September, 2016 at a meeting in the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan questions of
cooperation increase in trade and economic, energy and transport
spheres, and also possibilities of direct contacts between a
business community of two countries with the new ambassador of
Moldova Ruslan Bolbochan were discussed.
