LUKOIL commissioned the third well as part of the second phase of the development of V. Filanovsky field in the Caspian sea. This was reported by the Russian Agency OGIA with reference to the press service of the company.
The well is double-barreled, oil-producing, with a horizontal end. Length of the main trunk – 3 thousand 795 m, side – 3 thousand 762 m. the Initial flow rate of the well exceeded 3.2 thousand tons per day. Putting the well into operation allowed to bring the average daily production at the field to the project level.
The drilling program at the second stage of the field includes the construction and commissioning of eight wells – six producing and two injection wells to maintain production at the field at the designed level of 6 million tons of oil per year. Earlier in 2018, two wells were already put into operation – production and injection.
As part of the third stage of development of the field in the Astrakhan shipyards, the construction of a block conductor is being carried out.
