Uzbekneftegaz has opened a new field of natural gas and gas condensate in the Bukhara region on the border with Turkmenistan. This was reported by the press service of the company, Prime said.
"The new gas condensate field "Tumaris" in the Bukhara region received an industrial inflow of natural gas and condensate with a flow rate of up to 300-400 thousand cubic meters per day, " the press service reports.
The gas obtained in the process of testing even the first exploration wells from the upper Jurassic sediments in the depth interval 2028-2020 meters. The prospective resources of the new structure located on the border with Turkmenistan in the C3 category are estimated at 5.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 131 thousand tons of gas condensate.
Exploration work will continue at the "Tumaris" field with the drilling of the next exploratory wells No. 2 and No. 3 in order to further search for the identified hydrocarbon deposits.
