The first refueling for cars on hydrogen fuel will appear in Saudi Arabia
Oil company “Saudi Aramco” will soon open the first in Saudi Arabia gas station for vehicles running on hydrogen fuel cells. The project is carried out in cooperation with the American company Air Products.
Experimental cars for Saudi Arabia will be supplied by the Japanese corporation Toyota, which in 2014 introduced its first production model, the hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai.
The refueling will be located at the Dhahran Techno Valley Science Park in Dhahran in eastern Saudi Arabia. It is expected that she will earn in the second quarter of 2019, RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that hydrogen-powered cars do not produce any harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Energy is produced by the reaction between oxygen and hydrogen from air from a fuel cell, its only by-product is plain water.
