"Kazakhstan is ready to conduct negotiations concerning the
participation in prolongation of the agreement on freezing of oil
extraction of the countries of OPEC and not OPEC", - the Minister
of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev told in Astana to
journalists, Interfax Kazakhstan tells.
"We will conduct negotiations on May 24-25 with the countries of
OPEC and not OPEC on what role will be played by Kazakhstan,
having joined this agreement. Automatically on the same
conditions, most likely, it will not turn out, but we will discuss in
what measure we will join", - K. Bozumbayev told.
According to him, Kazakhstan intends to fulfill the liabilities within
the current agreement on freezing of oil extraction within the
remained two months of action of arrangements.
"Within the agreement we executed the liabilities, March-April we
exceeded a little, in May we go with accomplishment of liabilities,
it is even better, than promised, in June we consider that we will
fulfill the liabilities to these countries too", - K. Bozumbayev noted.
