Ankara issued to Gazprom the positive conclusion on the report on impact on the environment of the last site of the Turkish Flow project. As Trend tells, the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Anatoly Yanovsky reported about it.
The issue of a construction of the gas pipeline was discussed on Saturday in Kazan by members of the intergovernmental Russian-Turkish commission on a trade and economic cooperation. The Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak after the meeting reported that Turkey this year will sign the protocol on a construction of an overland part of the second string of "The Turkish flow".
"The Turkish partners promised that this work will be actively conducted, and we hope that they will approve it until the end of the year" — Novak noted.
Participants of the meeting confirmed the readiness for rendering full support of project implementation both on governmental, and on corporate levels.
As Izvestia reminds, Gazprom began to build on May 7 the offshore section of the Turkish Flow gas pipeline at the Russian coast of the Black Sea. In case of project implementation the gas pipeline construction through the Black Sea to the European part of Turkey and to border with Greece is supposed further.
