The first products of the new gas chemical complex in Kiyanly were sold

In the State commodity exchange of Turkmenistan registered the first transaction for the purchase of polymer products of the new gas chemical complex in the city of Kiyanly, Balkan province.

Various companies from the CIS countries became buyers. At the auction, 11 thousand 782 tons of high-density polyethylene, as well as 2 thousand 309 tons of polypropylene of various brands produced during the pilot processes at the new industrial enterprise were sold.

As you know, the gas chemical complex in Kiyanly was built by the State concern "Turkmengas" together with foreign partners - the Japanese company "TOYO Engineering" and the Korean "LG International Corp".

The new complex will process 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas and produce 381 thousand tons of high-density polyethylene, 81 thousand tons of polypropylene and other products. At the same time, the plant workers will receive up to 4.5 billion cubic meters of commercial gas, which will be sent to the gas pipeline systems for use as fuel.
