Advisor on security issues of Afghanistan discussed in Ashgabat on the issues of implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline and other projects

The delegation of Afghanistan, led by national security adviser Hamdulla Mohib, held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan as part of a working visit to Turkmenistan, the website of the Foreign Ministry of our country reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues on the implementation of the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, as well as power transmission and fiber-optic communication systems on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan route.
According to experts, the implementation of these projects will contribute to the reconstruction of Afghanistan, will create new jobs and provide the country with a guaranteed income.
The members of the Afghan delegation expressed their gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for putting forward international initiatives for the peaceful settlement of the situation in the neighboring country, as well as for the great efforts for the socio-economic reconstruction of Afghanistan.
