All sectors of the domestic fuel and energy complex, in which huge investments are made, should increase their productivity. This was stated By the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a workshop held on Monday with the participation of the managing Director of the Office of Halk Maslakhaty, the heads of the oil and gas complex and mayor of Ashgabat. The meeting considered the preparations for the independence Day celebration, the next meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty, as well as a number of other issues.
In particular, Vice Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Myratgeldi Meredov reported on the state of Affairs in the domestic fuel and energy sector, the implementation of instructions for the diversification of the oil and gas industry, the introduction of modern world experience, digital technologies and innovative methods into the industry.
Stressing the importance of forming multi-vector routes for the export of Turkmen energy resources to the world market, strengthening the pace of implementation of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the work carried out in this area should be carried out on an integrated basis.
Noting that in recent years systematically strengthening the material-technical base of FEC development has allocated huge investments, the head of state pointed to the fact that all sectors of this complex, using the opportunities created, should increase their productivity.
At the same time, as the President said, the efficiency of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries remains low. Despite the fact that one of the past meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers for improper organization of work of the Turkmenbashi oil refinery General Director Y. Muhammetmuradov was reprimanded, was not applied the necessary efforts to remedy the situation. In this regard, for the mistakes made in the work of the serious shortcomings Y. Muhammetmuradov was dismissed from the post of the General Director of the Turkmenbashi oil refinery.
The new head of the Turkmenbashi refinery, the head of state appointed Batyr Amanov, freeing him from the post of Deputy Chairman of the State concern "Türkmengas".
Expressing gratitude to the head of state for the high trust placed in him, B. Amanov assured that together with the employees of the complex he would make every effort to fulfill the tasks set.
Wishing success to the new head of the Turkmenbashi oil refinery, the President stressed the importance of a responsible and comprehensive approach to the issues of development of the complex, strengthening of its economic potential.
Noting that the oil and gas industry is one of the key sectors of the national economy, the head of state stressed the significant role of Turkmenbashi oil refinery in successfully solving the problems facing the fuel and energy sector. Instructing the newly appointed head to use innovative methods of production management, the President stressed that the widespread introduction of modern technologies, digital systems is important for all oil and gas processing facilities. In this regard, the head of state ordered to ensure a high level of work carried out in this area.
Addressing Vice-Premier M. Meredov and the General Director of the Turkmenbashi oil refinery B. Amanova, the President drew attention to the need for a scientific basis to approach the issues of increasing volumes of oil products, the active introduction of digital technology in the oil and gas industry, increase its export opportunities, giving the number of instructions.
