The State Concern “Turkmengas” will purchase materials and equipment from the Malaysian company Serba Dinamik for the construction of the Turkmen section of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline. The corresponding decree allowing “Turkmengas”to conclude a contract was signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting last Friday.
According to the document, “Turkmengas” will conclude a contract with Serba Dinamik for the purchase of various materials and equipment for the construction of the above-mentioned TAPI site. The contract also provides for the supply and installation of telemechanics and communication control systems SCADA and a set of equipment for a gas measuring station.
The document prescribed to begin work in January 2020 and hand over the facilities with full readiness for operation in December 2020.
