In the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, a reporting meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Vice Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Myratgeldi Meredov, at which the results of the industry's enterprises over the past 2019 were discussed.
Turning to the issues on the agenda, the Vice Prime Minister gave the floor to Serdar Gubayev, a representative of the Prosecutor General's office of Turkmenistan. His speech focused on the fight against corruption and offenses that negatively affect the economic and social development of our country. The representative of the Prosecutor General's office drew attention to the importance of further strengthening measures to prevent, counteract and completely eliminate such negative phenomena in the supervised industry.
Further reporting on the meeting with reports on the performed works delivered by the State Minister – Chairman of the State concern "Turkmengas" M. Archayev, President SC "Turkmennebit" G. Baigeldiyev, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeologiya" S. Abdrakhmanov, chief Director of the Turkmenbashi oil refinery B. Amanov, executive duties of the chairman of ZAO “Nebitgazkhizmat” D.Chishiev, as well as heads of departments and enterprises of the complex.
The reports contained information about the results of the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on February 7, 2020, which identified the tasks of progressive development of the oil and gas industry, strengthening its production and scientific and technical potential. In this regard, noted the importance of implementation in the oil and gas sector of advanced technologies, modernization of infrastructure, industry, capacity, oil and gas and chemical industries, producing demand within the country and on the world market, sustain performance, but also stressed the need to accelerate the construction of the gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India.
In their speeches, heads of the enterprises and institutions of the complex said the consistent growth complex works in the fields of the "Galkynysh", Dovletabat, as well as dynamic development of new wells, and increasing productivity of existing fields Uzynada, Altyguyi, Goturdepe.
Information was provided on the progress of joint work with “Tatneft” joint-stock company and “Yugneftegaz”. The analysis of production and economic indicators for the development of capital investments in the production of natural gas, oil, production of petroleum products, the introduction of innovative technologies, attracting mutually beneficial foreign investment in the industry, and gasification of the population.
During the meeting, a report was also made on the implementation of research and design and survey work carried out by specialists of the SC “Turkmengaz” State Research Institute of Natural Gas and the SC “Turkmenneft” State Institute of ‘Nebitgazylmytaslama”.
At the end of the meeting, Vice Prime Minister M. Meredov wished the participants success in implementing the "program for the development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030", noting the inherent importance of the oil and gas complex in the stable development of our country's economy.
