Polypropylene produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) became the basis for the production of new types of non-woven materials, which were established at the Economic Society Turkmen Senet, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET).
The new products were presented by the manufacturer at the exhibition of achievements of the private sector of the economy of Turkmenistan, held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on March 17-18, in which more than 200 members of the UIET took part.
HO "Turkmen Senet", which previously dealt with construction issues, two years ago decided to reorganize into the production of nonwoven materials. In 2019, a plant was built at which, from the beginning of 2020, a line was launched for the production of nonwoven fabric from local polypropylene, which is produced at TCOR.
At this stage, the company produces and sells non-woven fabric in rolls, which is widely used in the domestic medical industry. In particular, masks and medical clothes, sheets for hospitals are sewn from him.
In addition, the company has already established tailoring of eco-bags, and in the near future plans to expand the range and is preparing to begin exporting products to Turkey and Russia.
