The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, Atajan Movlamov, on March 26, held a meeting with the State Minister of Oil of Pakistan, Musadik Malik, during which he conveyed congratulations on his ascetic minister.
Musadik Malik expressed his gratitude for his support and promised to support partnership between the two countries. The Minister noted that the TAPI gas pipeline is a flagship project, and Pakistan intends to complete it, the Pakistani press information department reports.
It is noteworthy that during Malik's previous tenure as minister, Tapi's project received a significant impetus in Islamabad, which led to tangible results. Musadik Malik assured that he was still determined to promote the project so that it would not slow down.
Atjan Movlamov noted that meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission and Working Groups are scheduled for this year, during which the construction of a transnational gas pipeline will also be discussed.
TAPI is a winning project for all participating parties, the Ambassador added and invited the Minister of Oil of Pakistan to the Energy Investment Forum, which Turkmenistan will hold in Paris in April this year.
