Turkmenistan ranks second in oil transit through Russia

 According to the results of four months of 2021, Turkmenistan retained the second place among the oil-exporting countries that supply raw materials to foreign markets in transit through Russia, Interfax reports, citing the Central Dispatch Office of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Russian Federation.

According to these data, the transit of Turkmen oil in January-April this year amounted to 641.3 thousand tons (in April – 160.59 thousand tons). The leader in supplies here is Kazakhstan – 4.62 million tons (in April – 1.17 million tons).  Following Turkmenistan are Belarus – 559.3 thousand tons (141 thousand tons) and Azerbaijan – 253.76 thousand tons (84.31 thousand tons).
