Exploration of solid minerals is underway in the Balkan region

Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shakhym Abdrakhmanov reported on the results of the exploration of solid minerals carried out by the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» at a government meeting last Friday.

 In order to provide raw materials for industrial production facilities in various parts of the country, in particular, in the Balkan region, exploratory and appraisal studies are being carried out.  Along with the introduction of the latest scientific achievements and modern methods, priority is given to the industrial development of the identified deposits.

 President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the need to further modernize the activities of the fuel and energy complex in accordance with the requirements of the time, improve the skills of employees, as well as a modern approach to solving issues of increasing the production capacity of the complex.  Speaking about the importance of intensifying the application of innovations in science and the digital system, increasing the potential of the structural divisions of this sector, the head of state addressed the Vice-Chairman with specific instructions.
