In connection with the current situation in the energy sector of the Kyrgyz Republic, on January 3, in accordance with the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, the State Concern Türkmengaz sent 2 thousand tons of liquefied natural gas free of charge on behalf of the Turkmen people to a friendly country as humanitarian aid.
One of the priority vectors of the foreign policy strategy of neutral Turkmenistan, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and now successfully implemented by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is the development of broad, fruitful international cooperation, where great importance is attached to humanitarian ties. The dispatch of liquefied gas from Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic as a humanitarian cargo was another manifestation of our country’s goodwill in providing fraternal assistance in difficult times.
On Monday, Kyrgyz media reported that two thousand tons of liquefied gas, previously sent by Turkmenistan as humanitarian aid, was delivered to Bishkek on 58 wagons. The humanitarian fuel cargo was met by representatives of government departments of the republic.
The Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic Atabek Abylgaziev accepted the humanitarian cargo, expressing gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for the assistance sent, Vesti.kg reports.
