Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in Dushanbe on October 9 for a working visit, met with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, TDH reports.

Turkmenistan attaches great importance to expanding multilateral and bilateral cooperation with the countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). A scientific and practical conference entitled "The Role of Research and Development in the Oil and Gas Industry in the Years of Independence" was held at the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the State Concern “Turkmengas”. On October 4, a reporting meeting was held at the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan to review the performance of companies in the sector for the first nine months of this year, the International Year of Peace and Trust. Participants discussed the objectives set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the country's oil and gas sector at the October 3 digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which summarized the performance of all economic sectors for the current period.
