In 2024, Turkmenistan produced over 77.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas and over 8.3 million tons of oil. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Dovletgeldi Amanmuhammedov at an expanded government meeting last Friday, at which the results of the country's socio-economic development for 2024 were reviewed.

As reported in the report, steady growth was noted in the industrial sector at the end of 2024. Natural gas production amounted to 77 billion 623.1 million cubic meters, oil - 8 million 279.7 thousand tons.

Amanmuhamedov also noted that compared to 2023, the production of petroleum bitumen in the country increased by 10.2%, gasoline - by 4.8%, fuel oil - by 8.2%, diesel fuel - by 0.6%.
