 The signing of the Memorandum on joint exploration, development and development of the Dostluk hydrocarbon field in the Caspian Sea by Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan is welcomed by the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Trend reports referring to Anadolu agency.

 Ankara expressed the hope that the document would contribute to the strengthening of friendship between the two countries, benefit the friendly and fraternal peoples of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan and serve the prosperity and stability of the region.

 «We welcome the agreement between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on joint exploration and development of the Dostluk hydrocarbon field in the Caspian Sea … We also wish this agreement to open the way for projects to improve the energy security of Turkey and the rest of Europe …», - the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
