At the Mary Oil and Gas Secondary Vocational School of the Türkmengaz State Concern, a branch of the Concern’s Training Center for the Mary velayat opened about two years ago.
“With the close support of the Training Center, we organized short-term professional development courses at the branch. Our branch offers two-week training courses in two areas: professional development and retraining, as well as the differentiation and categorization of workers and specialists according to their profession. During the 2025–2026 academic year, 738 workers and specialists, employed at enterprises and organizations in the country’s oil and gas sector, advanced their skills in the respective fields. Our classrooms are fully equipped with high-tech equipment from leading global manufacturers, display stands, a model of the Galkynyş gas field, interactive whiteboards, other technical equipment and teaching aids. We primarily conduct theoretical training sessions for workers and specialists, who come to our branch for advanced training, using online video demonstrations,” Baymurat Yagmyrov, head of the Mary Velayat Branch of the Training Center of the Türkmengaz State Concern, explains.
