Recently, a facility for separating and pumping oil condensate mixture from gas was built and commissioned at the rich Uzynada field in the Balkan velayat. This new facility, adding to the series of joyful events this year, being held under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”, which will solemnly celebrate the 35th anniversary of our Motherland’s independence, was erected by builders from the Ýöritegurluşykgurnama Directorate of the Nebitgazçykaryş Trust, by order of the Gumdagnebit Oil and Gas Production Directorate of the Nebitgazçykaryş Trust of the Türkmennebit State Concern.
This facility, designed by the Nebitgazylmytaslama Institute of the Türkmennebit State Concern, uses three-stage separation equipment to separate gas from oil condensate mixture, water and other mechanical impurities coming from the Uzynada field. The separated gas is sent via a new 32.3-kilometer pipeline to a gas compressor station at the Barsagelmez field. The purified oil condensate is stabilized, collected in a tank and pumped to the Gumdag oil treatment and pumping station. The facility’s capacity allows separating 3 million cubic meters of natural gas and 2 thousand tons of oil-laden condensate daily.
