The cost of December futures for Brent oil on the London ICE Futures exchange by 8:14 Moscow time on Thursday was $85.68 per barrel, which is $0.14 (0.16%) below the price at the close of the previous session. As a result of previous trading, these contracts rose by $0.74 (0.87%) - up to $85.82 per barrel.
The price of WTI crude oil futures for December in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) was by the same time $83.41 per barrel, which is $0.01 (0.01%) lower than the final value of the previous session. The day before, the value of these contracts increased by $ 0.98 (1.2%) - up to $ 83.42 per barrel.
The quotes were supported during the previous trades by the data on fuel stocks in the USA. Commercial oil reserves in the United States last week decreased by 431 thousand barrels - to 426.54 million barrels, the Department of Energy said. Gasoline reserves decreased by 5.368 million barrels and amounted to 217.74 million barrels.
