Turkmenistan will hold business forums in Germany and the UK in November

 In November, delegations of Turkmenistan will hold a business forum in Berlin and an investment forum in London.  Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Atdayev reported on the ongoing work to further develop trade and economic relations with foreign countries at a government meeting held on Thursday.

 In particular, a report was made on preparations for the Turkmen-German business forum, which will be held on November 20 in Berlin (Germany), and for the investment forum “Turkmenistan – Investment and Development”, scheduled for November 22-23 in London (UK).

 The Vice-Chairman noted that during the business events, presentations will be made on the economic development and investment opportunities of Turkmenistan, investment projects to expand infrastructure in the sectors of information technology, transport and telecommunications.  The agenda will also include issues of expanding cooperation in the oil and gas, chemical industries, banking and insurance sectors.

 After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to properly prepare for the planned international forums.  At the upcoming Turkmen-German business forum in Berlin, as well as the investment forum in London, special attention should be paid to projects aimed at further development of the national economy, the head of state noted, addressing a number of instructions to the Vice-Chairman.

 During the government meeting, the Vice-Chairman also reported on the measures being implemented within the framework of the “Program for the Development of Foreign Economic Activity of Turkmenistan for 2020–2025” and the “Concept of International Exhibition Activities of Turkmenistan for 2024–2025.”

 Focusing on the importance of large-scale exhibitions, conferences and business meetings held in our country and abroad, the President gave appropriate instructions.
