Today, April 14, as part of his visit to Japan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Endo Toshiaki, TDH reports.
As noted during the meeting, Turkmenistan pays great attention to expanding and strengthening interstate dialogue with Japan in the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, relations between the two countries are consistently developing in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
One of the key areas of multilateral interaction between Turkmenistan and Japan is also inter-parliamentary cooperation, which is now one of the important instruments for strengthening mutual understanding and trust between states and peoples.
In this context, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov particularly noted the activities of the Turkmen-Japanese Interparliamentary Friendship Group in strengthening ties in this area.
