President of Turkmenistan approves the Concept of Labor Market Development until 2030

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the Concept of Labor Market Development in Turkmenistan until 2030, as well as an action plan for its implementation. The corresponding decree of the head of state was published on Saturday in the central media of Turkmenistan.

The draft Concept and the plan for its implementation were presented at a government meeting last Friday by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov.

As noted, the Concept defines the goals, objectives, main directions of labor market development and expected results. According to the document, it is planned to take a number of measures to improve employment of the population, further improve legislation taking into account generally accepted norms of international law, and expand the range of digital services in this area.

Based on the realities of the time, it is planned to update the methodology for analyzing information related to the study of the labor market and employment, as well as the reporting forms in force in this area. In addition, it is planned to intensify cooperation with the International Labor Organization, to study the possibilities of the country's accession to the main and priority conventions of this structure, - the Vice-Chairman noted.

Having heard the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of the labor market. Having signed the corresponding resolution aimed at further improving work in this direction, the head of state addressed a number of instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
