On November 21, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where a number of state matters were discussed, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the ongoing modernization of the gas pipeline systems of the State Concern Turkmengas.
As reported, the necessary work in this area is being carried out at enterprises subordinate to the concern. Particular attention is being paid to strengthening the material and technical base of production facilities. Successful completion of these tasks will contribute to further improving the reliability of natural gas supplies to domestic consumers and foreign markets.
In this context, the Vice-Chairman submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state's consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that ensuring uninterrupted supplies of natural gas to domestic consumers and reliable deliveries to foreign markets is a top priority. Approving the proposal for the State Concern “Turkmengas” to modernize its gas pipeline systems, the head of Turkmenistan instructed the Vice-Chairman to carry out the necessary work.
