President and members of the government of Turkmenistan were awarded commemorative medals in honor of the 30th anniversary of the country's neutrality

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded the commemorative medal "For the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality" and a set of commemorative plaques, TDH reports.

The award ceremony took place on December 6 at the Oguzkhan Palace Complex, during which the corresponding resolution of the Mejlis was read by its leader, Dunyagozel Gulmanova.

The document emphasizes the head of state's enormous personal contribution to strengthening independence and sovereignty, as well as to the implementation of the country's foreign policy based on the doctrine of "Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace”.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressing gratitude for the award, emphasized that he views the commemorative medal, presented during the International Year of Peace and Trust on the occasion of International Neutrality Day, as an award to the entire Turkmen people.

Following the President, other senior officials also received the state award, including the Chairman of the Mejlis, Vice-Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of security agencies, and heads of regional administrations.
