Petroleum bitumen, urea, base oil, and polypropylene were sold at exchange trades

Thirty-two transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine purchased urea produced at the processing facilities of the SC Turkmenchemistry for foreign currency. Representatives from the UAE also traded petroleum road bitumen (Turkmennebit) and cotton fabric.

The total value of these transactions exceeded USD 9,898,000.

Local businessmen purchased base oil and polypropylene (Turkmennebit), as well as cotton fiber, licorice extract, cottonseed oil soapstock, and crude fatty acids for the domestic market. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 27 million 675 thousand manats.
