An informational and educational event dedicated to healthy lifestyles and the development of mass sports was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern Turkmengas.
The meeting brought together specialists from the Turkmennebit and Turkmengas concerns, as well as representatives of the State Corporation Turkmengeology.
Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, law enforcement agencies, the healthcare system, and public organizations spoke at the event. Particular attention was paid to state policy aimed at improving public health and developing physical education and sports.
Participants emphasized that the country is creating favorable conditions for sports for all age groups. It was also noted that the number of children and young people regularly participating in sports is increasing annually, and Turkmen athletes successfully represent the country in international competitions.
Following the meeting, it was noted that Turkmenistan continues to strengthen its position as a state in which a healthy lifestyle and athletic achievements are important.
