Twenty-seven transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan purchased liquefied gas and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the processing units of the State Concern Turkmennebit, liquefied gas and desulfurized diesel fraction (SC Turkmenchemistry), and motor oil for foreign currency.
Denim and knitwear, as well as plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, wheat flour, cotton fiber, and cotton yarn were also sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries were Turkey and Ukraine.
The total value of the transactions exceeded USD 62.52 million.
Local businessmen purchased cottonseed oil, cotton yarn, and cotton fiber for the domestic market totaling 56,454,000 manats.
