On June 26, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where a number of state matters were discussed, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on the activities of the State Concern Turkmennebit.
As noted, necessary measures are currently being taken to establish new production facilities at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR) through the introduction of modern technologies, which is intended to facilitate the production of import-substituting, competitive petrochemical products.
In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the country is conducting targeted work to consistently modernize the oil refining industry and produce petrochemical products. Having approved the proposal to establish a new production facility at the Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery Complex, the head of state addressed a number of specific instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
