The Chinese corporation SINOPEC's branch in Turkmenistan produced over 1 million tons of oil in four years, worth approximately $200 million, according to the Business Advertising newspaper.
The project, run by SINOPEC, an international oilfield services company affiliated with the Chinese petrochemical corporation, is being implemented under a contract with the State Concern Turkmennebit.
The company performs a wide range of oilfield services, and thanks to the use of modern technologies, daily oil production has increased by more than 1,500 tons.
The production of over 1 million tons of crude oil was a major achievement achieved jointly by all project participants, clearly demonstrating the professionalism, resource coordination, and responsible approach of the SINOPEC group in Turkmenistan.
SINOPEC's branch also participated in work at the Shatlyk, Dovletabad, Yashyldepe, and Bagtyyarlyk fields, where drilling, well workover, and gas and oil production enhancement projects were completed.
In the future, the company intends to continue introducing modern technologies in Turkmenistan, improving the efficiency of mature field development, and implementing new projects.
