High-quality gas flow obtained at Yilan field in Mary region

A new commercial flow of natural gas has been obtained at appraisal and production well No. 04 of the Yilan field in Mary region, after drilling to a depth of 2,916 meters in the interval 2,860–2,858 meters, at a flow rate of over 700,000 cubic meters per day.

The success of the drillers of the  Turkmengasburavlayysh department of the SC Turkmengas makes a significant contribution to the further strengthening of our country's economic strength.

The main feature of the new well is the high quality and purity of the raw material. Notably, the natural gas produced here is sulfur-free. This ensures its environmental friendliness and high commercial value for industry.

Obtaining a new, commercially significant influx of natural gas opens up significant prospects for further large-scale development of the field, which will increase the export potential of Turkmenistan's gas industry and ensure a stable supply for domestic consumers.

In recent years, the Yylan field has been a particular focus for the state concern Turkmengas. Its advantageous geographic location near other major fields in the region—particularly the supergiant Galkynysh field—allows for the easy integration of the new facility into the existing gas transportation infrastructure. In the future, this sector will become a reliable additional source of raw materials for both domestic needs and international pipelines.

Currently, drillers from Turkmengasburavlayysh continue their smooth operations at the Yylan field. By timely and efficiently fulfilling the objectives set by the President of Turkmenistan to increase natural gas production, these hard-working gas workers are making a significant contribution to the prosperity of the country.
