Ninety-three transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Business representatives from Russia, the United Arab Emirates, China, the UK, Uzbekistan and Türkiye purchased for foreign currency petroleum coke (produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries), cotton yarn and sheet glass.
The total value of the transactions exceeded 9 million 918 thousand US dollars.
Additionally, foreign entrepreneurs bought cotton yarn totaling over 21 million 248 thousand manats. The purchasing countries included the UK, the UAE, Türkiye and Kazakhstan.
For the home market, domestic businesspeople purchased polypropylene (produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries), plastic pallets, polypropylene bags and film, handmade carpets and cotton fiber with a total value of more than 105 million manats.
