Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Chinese Ambassador Qian Naicheng at a meeting on Thursday noted the great potential of bilateral trade and economic cooperation in the interests of developing regional and international partnerships, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
In this context, the interlocutors stressed the importance of continuing joint work in such areas as transport, energy and agriculture.
One of the topics of the meeting was also the expansion of inter-parliamentary dialogue at the level of the upper house of the National Assembly of Turkmenistan and the National People's Congress of China.
The interlocutors also discussed international and regional topics of mutual interest.
