The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan (CCIT) is preparing to hold a specialized exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran “Iran Project” and a Turkmen-Iranian business forum in Ashgabat on November 17-19.
As the electronic newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports with reference to the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it is expected that about 100 companies from Iran will take part in the specialized exhibition. Almost 50 pavilions will present products and services of companies operating in the fields of construction and production of building materials, technical and engineering services, water management, energy, oil and gas, petrochemicals, education and trade.
Also, on November 18, a Turkmen-Iranian business forum is planned to be held in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
It is expected that as part of these events, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and Iranian businessmen will sign a number of documents to develop cooperation.
At the meeting of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the new Ambassador of Iran to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtab Ruzbekhani on November 13, it was noted that Iran remains one of the significant partners of Turkmenistan in the region and the parties are aimed at further increasing cooperation in the trade and economic field.
