The fundamentally new health resort system being created in the country, which has absorbed the best of national and foreign experience, is part of the overall structure for effectively strengthening the health of the population. Among the achievements of the domestic health resort sphere are new and radically reconstructed health resorts, including the Daşoguz Sanatorium, located in the Akdepe etrap of the northern region of the country.
It received the status of a modern high-level hospital in 2014, when, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and in order to strengthen the base of the health resort network in the healthcare sector, its new building, designed for 200 beds, was erected. Since then, Turkmen people from all over the country have been coming there to restore their health and, at the same time, to receive a whole range of preventive measures and relaxation. Among the thousands of our compatriots vacationing in the Sanatorium, there are also workers of the oil and gas complex.
