Each of the large-scale projects, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag and successfully implemented by the President of Turkmenistan, is aimed at the economic development of our country and the improvement of the social and living standards of the Turkmen population. On September 11, in the southernmost corner of the country – in the Tagtabazar etrap of the Mary velayat, ceremonies of the opening and construction start of new infrastructure facilities were held – the laying of the Serhetabat–Herat section called “Arkadagyň ak ýoly”, which is the main link of the TAPI gas pipeline project, the fiber-optic communication line and the Şatlyk-1 gas compressor station in the Mary velayat, the start of the construction of the 1st section, Torghundi–Sanabar, the Torghundi–Herat railway and a warehouse complex in the dry port of the Torghundi railway station, the commissioning of a 177-meter-long railway bridge on the Turkmen-Afghan border along the Serhetabat–Torghundi railway line and the launch of the Nur-el-Jаhad power plant in the Afghan province of Herat as part of the power transmission line project along the route Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan.
