On the eve of the 33rd anniversary of the country’s independence, during a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the People’s Artist of the country, two-time laureate of Magtymguly State Prize, Honorary Elder of the people, teacher-mentor Saragt Babayev was conferred the title of Hero of Turkmenistan according to the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
