Guided by the objectives set forth in the Program of the Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan, employees of the Nebitdagnebit Oil and Gas Production Directorate of the Nebitgazçykaryş Trust are carrying out large-scale activities to develop and exploit the country’s oil and gas fields. The total volume of “black gold”, extracted from oil wells from January till September, amounted to 500,431 tons, meaning the nine-month plan was fulfilled by 107.5 percent. The enterprise’s production growth rate increased by 109 percent compared to the same period last year.
The Directorate accounts for the majority of the “black gold” produced by the Türkmennebit State Concern. Nebitdagnebit annually increases oil production through the introduction and effective use of modern technologies at the Barsagelmez and Nebitdag fields. Work is being consistently carried out at the wells to successfully implement a wide range of innovative measures, including the use of screw pumps and high-pressure gas lift in wells, the cutoff of secondary well casings and the removal of water from formations to prevent paraffin deposits from forming in pipelines. The implementation of flexible tubing during major well workovers and the reliable implementation of technologies that increase underground resource extraction also have a positive impact on the results achieved.
